Sky New Zealand and New Zealand Cricket have announced a new six-year partnership, making Sky the exclusive broadcast partner for all BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS home international matches starting from the 2026-27 season. The 2026-27 season will include visits from the India and Sri Lanka men's teams, as well as the Sri Lanka and West Indies women's teams. Sky Chief Executive Sophie Moloney expressed delight at the deal, stating that Sky is committed to delivering the exciting cricket content to New Zealanders in ways that work for them, including a free-to-air component. NZC Chief Executive Scott Weenink said the partnership will ensure the best possible access for Kiwi-based fans and that they look forward to working with Sky to continue delivering outstanding production values and cutting-edge technology. This agreement complements Sky's existing cricket coverage, including men's and women's ICC events, BCCI international matches, and the TATA IPL and TATA WPL, solidifying Sky's position as the local broadcaster of the world's premier international cricket events for New Zealand audiences.
