Austal Ltd has released its Appendix 4D for the half-year ended 31 December 2024. The reporting period was from 1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024, with the previous corresponding period being 1 July 2023 to 31 December 2023. Revenue from ordinary activities increased by 15% to $825.7 million, while profit (loss) from ordinary activities after tax attributable to members and net profit (loss) for the period attributable to members both increased by 109% to $25.1 million. No dividends were declared for either the FY2024 final or the FY2025 interim period. The company's net tangible assets per ordinary security increased from 247 cents per share in the previous corresponding period to 288 cents per share in the current period. There were no changes to control over entities during the period, and the financial statements of subsidiaries were prepared using consistent accounting policies equivalent to International Financial Reporting Standards.
