Coast Entertainment Holdings Ltd (ASX: CEH) has released its Appendix 4D Half Year Report for the period ended 24 December 2024. The company reported a consolidated net profit of $3.1 million, compared to $4.8 million in the prior period, which included a $12.6 million gain from the sale of the Main Event business. However, net profit from continuing operations improved by $10.9 million compared to the prior corresponding period, marking the first time the continuing business has achieved a profit after tax since FY16. Revenue from ordinary activities increased 9.6% to $47.7 million. The company did not pay or declare an interim dividend for the half-year period. Coast Entertainment also completed a share buyback program of up to 10% of issued capital, with a further buyback of up to 10% of issued capital commencing in November 2024. The net tangible asset backing per share remained stable at $0.55 as of 24 December 2024.
