The company saw an 8% increase in revenue to $8.45 million, driven by strong growth across its water and plastics businesses. The loss from continuing operations was reduced by 98% to $15,000 compared to the prior corresponding period. The water business reflected strong growth in sales, particularly in the second quarter, with record revenue months recorded in several regions. All branches aside from Victoria posted an operational profit in the first half. The costs associated with the relocation of the Victorian branch following a major fire event, as well as high inflation, impacted the bottom-line result for that division.The plastics business achieved a 6% sales growth and delivered 6 consecutive months of profit in the first half under the new outsourced model, representing a turnaround in performance after a difficult period.The Board remains focused on delivering a profitable result and is exploring potential acquisitions and production capacity improvements to drive further growth and profitability.
