WiseTech Global Limited (ASX:WTC) has provided an update on changes to its Board of Directors. Richard White has been appointed as the new Executive Chairman, who will oversee succession planning and lead the company's product development and growth strategy. Mike Gregg has joined the Board as the Lead Independent Director, responsible for governance-related matters and the Board renewal process. The People & Remuneration Committee now comprises Charles Gibbon and Mike Gregg. Due to the resignation of four directors, the company does not currently meet the ASX Listing Rules requirement for the Audit and Risk Committee to have at least three non-executive directors. The company intends to appoint additional independent directors within the next four weeks to address this. As part of the Board renewal process, the company will engage with shareholders to seek their views on the relevant skillset for the future Board composition.
