Comms Group Ltd, a telecommunications and IT services business, reported a 0.3% increase in revenue to $27.046m for the half year ended 31 December 2024 compared to the prior corresponding period. However, the company reported a net loss of $0.311m, up 17% from the prior period. This was primarily due to an increase in employee costs to support the Global division's future growth prospects, as well as some delays and timing of revenue recognition for key contracts. The company's Underlying EBITDA decreased to $2.392m from $2.97m in the prior period. The Group's cash position at 31 December 2024 was $2.72m, an increase of $0.30m from the prior year. The directors have resolved to pay a fully franked interim dividend of 0.125 cents per share for the period. No other significant changes in the state of affairs occurred during the period.
