The Qantas Group reported Underlying Profit Before Tax (Underlying PBT) of $1,385 million for the first half of the 2024/25 financial year, a $140 million increase compared to the prior corresponding period. Statutory Profit Before Tax was $1,320 million, an increase of $75 million, and Statutory Profit After Tax was $923 million. The result included continued growth in international flying capacity, with total Group ASKs 10% higher than the prior corresponding period. Ongoing strength in travel demand supported performance, with Group Domestic Underlying EBIT of $916 million and Group International Underlying EBIT of $497 million. Qantas Loyalty maintained its positive business momentum, achieving $255 million Underlying EBIT. The Group's fleet renewal program continued with the delivery of 16 aircraft, including six new A321LRs, two new A320neos, three new A220-300s, two mid-life A319-100s and three mid-life Q400s.
