Volt Power Group Ltd achieved an outstanding Ordinary Revenue and EBITDA result during 2024 of $5.6 million and $2.3 million respectively. The company advanced significant R&D design activities for its existing businesses and new product development opportunities, while operating in a challenging cost environment as it expanded internal capabilities and global alliances. The EcoQuip business achieved new record FY24 Ordinary Revenue and EBITDA results, completing the hire deployment of 20 more Mobile Solar Light Towers (MSLTs) to the Barrow Island project and signing an 'evergreen' Plant Hire Contract with Thiess. EcoQuip also expanded its national marketing and sales strategy, with new and existing demonstration trials advancing hire contract negotiations. The Wescone business saw marginally lower FY24 Ordinary Revenue and EBITDA results, primarily due to a successful continuous improvement R&D program, but secured a new Africa distribution partner. Management continued to engage with the WA Government-owned Synergy on the potential benefits of the company's ATEN Waste Heat to Power technology, which the ATEN Concept Study highlighted could provide significant performance and commercial benefits. The Volt Board remains excited about the potential of the HYTEN Waste Heat to Hydrogen technology to facilitate existing energy infrastructure assets to become low-cost, zero-emission hydrogen producers.
