• FBR and Liebherr-Mischtechnik GmbH enter agreement for Liebherr USA Co. to assist in localizing and assembling Hadrian X® machines in the US

FBR Limited (ASX:FBR) has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Liebherr-Mischtechnik GmbH for the provision of consulting services by Liebherr USA Co. to Fastbrick Americas Engineering LLC (FAEL) to assist in the localization and assembly of Hadrian X® machines in the US, including the mounting of Hadrian X® machines onto US truck bases. This is the first step in establishing a complete assembly plant for the Hadrian X® in the US market. Initially, robotic modules will be manufactured by or for FBR in Australia and delivered to the US assembly plant for assembly into Hadrian X® machines for the US market. Over time, FBR plans to move the manufacture of more robotic modules and parts to the US, generating further efficiencies in both cost and time of manufacture, and simplifying the servicing of Hadrian X® machines in the US. Liebherr operates an expanding network of manufacturing plants and workshops in the US and has extensive experience mounting Liebherr construction equipment to US truck bases, making it well-placed to support FAEL in the localization and assembly of the Hadrian X® in the US. The collaboration will also enable Liebherr to better understand the processes required to assemble Hadrian X® robots onto US truck bases, with a view to progressing the broader relationship that is continuing to be investigated under the Memorandum of Understanding, including the potential for the mutually beneficial commercialisation of Wall as a Service® in the US market.

The development of a US assembly plant for FBR's Hadrian X® robots will significantly reduce the overall time to complete the manufacture of each US Hadrian X® unit. Over time, FBR plans to move the manufacture of more robotic modules and parts to the US, generating further efficiencies in both cost and time of manufacture, and simplifying the servicing of Hadrian X® machines in the US.
