- Synertec to co-invest alongside Engie and Victorian Government in PHNXX
- PHNXX offers modular microgrid in a 20-foot container with solar panels
- Partnership to provide cost-efficiencies, SaaS, cross-company sales, and market exposure
Synertec Corporation Limited (ASX:SOP), a technology design and development growth company, has announced a strategic partnership and investment in PHNXX Pty Ltd, a Victorian company targeting low-cost, agricultural applications for its unique, containerized Battery Energy Solar System (BESS). Synertec will co-invest alongside French energy giant Engie (€41.7b market cap) via Engie Factory, and the Victorian Government via LaunchVic. At completion, Synertec will own approximately 9%, Engie will own approximately 29%, the Victorian Government will own approximately 2%, and each of the 3 founders will own approximately 17% each. PHNXX offers a modular microgrid in a 20-foot container that contains battery and solar panels, with the complete deployment and installation taking approximately 4 hours. The strategic partnership is expected to provide cost-out of supply chain efficiencies via PHNXX's production facility in China, Software as a Service (SaaS), cross-company sales cooperation, exposure to large market segments not targeted by Synertec, and co-investment with Engie in the Southeast Asian market activation for the SaaS offering.
