Brookside Energy Ltd has announced the successful advancement of drilling operations at the Bruins Well, located in the SWISH Area of Interest in the Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma. The company has completed two critical milestones: the running and cementing of the intermediate casing string, as well as the precise landing of the well bore curve in the target bench of the Woodford Shale. This transitions the well from vertical to horizontal drilling, ensuring optimal positioning within the reservoir to maximize production potential. The Bruins Well is the ninth operated well drilled by Brookside in the SWISH Play, aligning with the company's strategy to maintain and grow production while expanding its inventory of high-return, low-risk drilling locations. Drilling has progressed efficiently, with the intermediate casing successfully run and cemented, and the curve landed in the Woodford Shale at a depth of approximately 7,400-feet, a critical step in optimizing production potential.
