Drilling Extends New Edjudina Range Gold Prospect
- Infill and step-out aircore drilling confirms and extends the emerging Edjudina Range Gold Prospect
- Significant gold mineralization intersected, including 10m @ 0.96g/t Au within 15m @ 0.70g/t Au
- Mineralization sits on a magnetic contact and is supported by pathfinder geochemistry
Solstice Minerals has completed infill and step-out aircore drilling at the Edjudina Range Gold Prospect in Western Australia, confirming and extending the new gold mineralization identified in late 2024. The drilling has intersected significant gold mineralization, including 10m @ 0.96g/t Au within 15m @ 0.70g/t Au in hole EDRAC038, and 5m @ 1.17g/t Au within 8m @ 0.88g/t Au in hole EDRAC030. The mineralization is hosted in silicified iron-oxide altered schist and associated quartz veining, and sits on a distinct magnetic contact that is supported by arsenic and copper pathfinder geochemistry. The Company sees excellent potential for significant mineralization along this unexplored soil-covered magnetic contact and is preparing for additional infill and step-out drilling. Regionally, the Edjudina Range Gold Prospect is in a similar litho-structural position to the advanced Statesman Well Gold Prospect and the Bluetooth prospect, where Solstice has previously reported strong shallow gold intercepts.
The Company is keen to find out what lies within and beyond the current drilling at the Edjudina Range Gold Prospect, and will be bringing the aircore rig back as soon as sites are prepared to continue testing this exciting target.
