Top End Energy Commences Prospective Resource Assessment
- Appointment of Teof Rodrigues & Associates to lead the prospective resource assessment
- Assessment aims to guide well site selection and communicate resource potential
- Evaluation to be conducted in accordance with Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS)
Top End Energy (ASX: TEE) has announced that an independent assessment of prospective resources is now underway for its wholly owned Serpentine Natural Hydrogen Project in Kansas, USA. The company has appointed Teof Rodrigues & Associates (TRA), an Australian consulting firm specializing in the energy industry, to lead the prospective resource assessment across TEE's leasehold portfolio within a natural hydrogen play fairway spanning Marshall, Riley and Washington Counties. The assessment will further guide the company's well site selection strategy and help communicate the project's resource potential to investors, stakeholders, potential development partners and customers. Luke Velterop, Vice President of U.S. Operations, expressed excitement about the commencement of this key work scope, noting TRA's extensive experience in evaluating natural hydrogen projects since 2022 and their prior collaboration with the company. The assessment will be conducted in accordance with the Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS), an internationally recognized framework for resource reporting that was expanded in 2022 to include natural hydrogen and other non-hydrocarbon gases. Top End Energy looks forward to providing further updates as the assessment progresses and anticipates announcing the key findings in Q2 2025.
