Resampling Highlights Strong Potential at Bluetooth
- One-metre resampling of recent Reverse Circulation (RC) gold intervals at the Bluetooth Gold Prospect has reinforced the potential of this advanced gold target
- Intercepts are interpreted to be close to true width and define shallowly east-dipping zones of gold mineralisation over 800m strike
- Site preparation is now underway ahead of the next phase of RC drilling at Bluetooth, scheduled for Q2 2025
Solstice Minerals is gearing up for the next phase of RC drilling at the advanced Bluetooth Gold Prospect within the Yarri Gold Project, after receiving further encouragement from one metre resampling of recent gold intervals. Strong gold intercepts to 36m @ 1.55g/t Au in BTHRC016 were returned in composite sampling of Solstice's first phase of RC drilling at Bluetooth, a program that tested a 1km trend of outcropping mineralisation and followed-up wide-spaced historical RAB and RC gold intercepts at the Prospect. One-metre resampling completed by Solstice has now confirmed and, in places, upgraded the gold intercepts, with mineralised zones including 29m @ 1.58g/t Au from 20m, and 1m @ 5.32g/t Au from 55m in BTHRC016, 12m @ 2.86g/t Au from 47m in BTHRC013, 12m @ 1.57g/t Au from 67m in BTHRC014, and 9m @ 0.90g/t Au from 48m, and 6m @ 1.13g/t Au from 68m in BTHRC001. Drill intercepts are considered to be close to true width and define shallowly east-dipping zones of gold mineralisation associated with oxidised chert, ironstone and quartz veining. Results of >1g/t Au have now been returned over at least 800m of strike, highlighting the potential to delineate near-surface gold mineralisation at this location. Solstice's drilling has also defined a local north-plunging fold closure at the northern end of the Prospect, with the 29m @ 1.58g/t intercept in BTHRC016 sitting within the interpreted fold hinge. Drill site preparation is now underway for additional shallow RC drilling around key intercepts, which will be carried out in conjunction with a first-ever RC program at the Company's advanced Statesman Well Gold Prospect, located on the same geological trend approximately 30km to the south.
Solstice is pleased with the way the Bluetooth Prospect is developing, with results to date indicating the potential to delineate valuable near-surface oxide material at this location. Approximately 2,700m of RC drilling is planned as part of the combined program at Bluetooth and Statesman Well, which is scheduled for Q2 2025.
