Flight Centre Travel Group responds to ASX Aware Letter

Flight Centre Travel Group Limited (FLT) has provided a response to an ASX Aware Letter dated 5 March 2025 regarding its H1 FY25 results announcements. FLT confirmed that it did not publish earnings guidance for the H1 FY25 period, but is covered by 18 sell-side analysts, 13 of whom provided half-year forecasts. FLT adopted an adjusted half-year consensus estimate, excluding one anomalous forecast, which showed its actual reported underlying PBT for H1 FY25 was 6.8% below the adjusted consensus. FLT stated that this variance falls within the 15% guideline recommended by ASX. FLT also noted that the variances between actual and consensus estimates for other metrics such as TTV, underlying EBITDA, and statutory PBT also fell within the 15% guideline, other than statutory PBT which was marginally outside. FLT confirmed that it was in compliance with Listing Rules 3.1 and 3.1A and that its responses had been authorised in accordance with its continuous disclosure policy.
