The Star Entertainment Group has released its financial results for the first half of fiscal year 2025. Revenue from ordinary activities declined by 16.4% to $724.0m, while profit from ordinary activities after tax attributable to members of the parent company was a net loss of $301.9m. On a normalised basis, revenue declined by 25.0% to $649.6m, and the company reported a loss before interest, tax, depreciation, amortisation and significant items of $57.3m. Significant items, including an impairment of the investment in the DBC joint venture, debt refinancing costs, and various regulatory, fines, penalties, and other costs, amounted to $166.2m. Net interest expense increased by 5.9% to $19.7m, and the company's share of associates' loss was $21.0m. The company did not declare an interim dividend for the period. Net tangible assets per share stood at $0.15 at the end of the reporting period.
