- Positive operating cash flow of $1.3M in the latest quarter
- Significant improvement in available funds to $2.8M
- Total recurring revenue jumped 28.3% to annualised $3.3M
Beam Communications Holdings Limited (ASX: BCC) reported positive operating cash flow of $1.3 million in the latest quarter, a significant improvement over the $2.2 million outflow in the prior quarter. The company's total available funds as of 31 March 2025 increased to $2.8 million, which includes $2.5 million in cash and $300K from an undrawn and available overdraft facility. This is a substantial increase from the $1.3 million ($1.2 million cash and $81K undrawn debt) in the prior quarter. Beam's recurring revenue jumped 28.3% over the prior corresponding period (PCP) to $835K (or $3.3 million annualised) with both ZOLEO royalties and Airtime sales to consumer and enterprise customers continuing to grow by double-digits. However, revenue from Beam's core business (sales of Beam-branded equipment and OEM devices excluding ZOLEO devices) fell 14.1% PCP to $4.9 million, primarily due to significantly large orders from one key customer in Q3FY24. Beam's ongoing cost rationalisation program and the reduction in Managing Director's remuneration package is on track to deliver annual savings of circa $2.7 million.
