ALS will continue to monitor broader macroeconomic factors and remains focused on adhering to the principles in its value creation framework. Based on unaudited management results, the company expects underlying net profit after tax to be in the range of AUD $310-$313 million for the audited FY25 financial results (for the year ending 31 March 2025). In the Commodities segment, year on year sample volumes for the Minerals division have improved from being down by approximately 0.5% at the half year (H1 FY25; six months to 30 September 2024) to positive approximately 2.5% at the full year (predominantly delivered in the March quarter; Q4 FY25). The remaining Commodities businesses continued performing as expected in line with the outlook previously provided. In the Life Sciences segment, the Environmental division delivered approximately 10.0% organic growth for the year. The Food and Pharma divisions are now under new leadership and are being managed as separate business streams, with performance continuing in line with the outlook previously provided. Finally, integrations of recent acquisitions continue to track ahead of expectations.
