Meteoric Resources NL (ASX: MEI) has reported its Quarterly Activities for the period ending 31 March 2025, highlighting continued progress at its Caldeira Rare Earth Ionic Clay Project in Brazil. The global Caldeira Project resource has grown to 1.5 billion tonnes at 2,359ppm Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO), including 559ppm Magnetic Rare Earth Oxides (MREO). The Measured and Indicated Resources have increased to 666Mt at 2,685ppm TREO and 605ppm MREO, with a MREO/TREO ratio of 22.5%. Meteoric also announced a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the Barra do Pacu deposit, which totals 389Mt at 2,204ppm TREO, with 432ppm MREO. This high-grade zone is a continuation of the Capão do Mel deposit, where mining is planned to commence. Drilling results from the Agostinho Prospect returned exceptional ionic clay intercepts up to 19,183ppm TREO, with enriched MREO content up to 38%. These results highlight the potential to add further high-grade resources to the Caldeira Project. Meteoric's cash balance at the end of the quarter was A$23.8 million, and the company continues to progress alternative funding solutions to support the project through to commencement.
