Major RC Drilling Campaign Commences on WA Gold Projects
- Statesman Well: Maiden RC drilling program underway, targeting 1km+ zone of oxide gold mineralization
- Bluetooth: 1,000m of infill RC drilling planned, following up on initial strong, shallow gold intercepts
- Robust cash position of $13.6M provides flexibility to progress key gold prospects
Solstice Minerals is pleased to announce that a major RC drilling campaign is now underway across two of its advanced gold prospects within the Yarri Gold Project in Western Australia. The first program is targeting the Statesman Well Gold Prospect, where Solstice is conducting its maiden RC drilling program. Statesman Well hosts outcropping gold mineralization and old workings, with previous drilling returning commercial-grade intercepts including 22m @ 1.14g/t Au, 10m @ 2.04g/t Au, and 13m @ 1.28g/t Au over a 1km strike length. Solstice plans to drill approximately 20 RC holes for 2,000m at Statesman Well, testing a series of compelling follow-up targets identified through its compilation and validation work. Following the Statesman Well program, the RC rig will move to the Bluetooth Gold Prospect, where Solstice will conduct around 1,000m of infill RC drilling. Solstice's initial drilling at Bluetooth demonstrated the potential for commercial oxide mineralization in a near-surface setting, with highlights including 29m @ 1.58g/t Au from 20m, 12m @ 2.86g/t Au from 47m, and 12m @ 1.57g/t Au from 67m. The company's robust cash position of $13.6M as of 31 March 2025 provides excellent flexibility to progress its key gold prospects toward Mineral Resources, as well as expand its asset base beyond the current projects.
Solstice is confident that the RC rig will then roll on to the Edjudina Range prospect following the completion of the Bluetooth program, as the company continues to work-up further quality gold targets and test positions that offer potential for 'stand-alone' scale mineralization across its extensive 1,650km2 Yarri Gold Project tenement package.
