Excite Technology Services Limited (ASX: EXT) has announced that it has secured binding commitments from sophisticated and institutional investors to raise $2.8 million through the issue of new shares. The capital raised will be used for organic growth initiatives, including strategic investment in the Company's Nangu Tactical Training Facility, development of Offensive Security Services (OSS) capability, and general working capital. The Nangu Tactical Centre, backed by a $3 million federal grant, will be a flagship project designed to elevate Australia's sovereign capability in cyber security, digital forensics, and incident response. The centre will deliver immersive, real-world training environments tailored to the needs of Defence, Government, and State Law Enforcement agencies. The funds will also support new sales initiatives for Excite's offensive security services, which are expected to be secured within the next quarter. The placement comprises a single tranche equivalent to 12.8% of existing shares on issue. Excite is continuing to evaluate several acquisition opportunities aimed at strengthening cross-sell opportunities, increasing customer engagement, and delivering EBITDA accretion.

The funds will enhance Excite's core capabilities in digital forensics, cyber training, and offensive security, directly supporting revenue-generating opportunities already in play. Excite is building momentum across Defence, Government and critical infrastructure sectors, and this investment accelerates the company's ability to scale and deliver nationally significant outcomes.
