Saunders International Limited (ASX: SND) has been awarded a $27 million CIL4 Tanks installation contract by Primero at Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines (KCGM) in Western Australia. The project involves the construction of eight carbon-in-leach (CIL) tanks and interconnecting launders, as well as seven process tanks that support the increase in plant throughput to Northern Star Resources' Fimiston Processing Plant. This is the second major project Saunders has been awarded at the Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines. In May 2024, Saunders secured a $31.5 million contract with Northern Star Resources, which is currently underway and scheduled for completion in mid CY26. Saunders' Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Mark Benson, stated that this latest project win further strengthens the company's footprint in Western Australia and the Resources & Industrial sector, reinforcing its reputation for delivering integrated solutions across its diverse capabilities, underpinned by its proven ability to execute safely and collaboratively in complex mining environments. The project will commence immediately and is scheduled for completion in November 2025, contributing to Saunders' revenue and earnings in FY25 and FY26.
