HITIQ Limited (ASX: HIQ), a leader in concussion management technology, has announced a three-year partnership with AFL Barwon, naming HITIQ as the Official Concussion Technology Partner from 30 April 2025 to 31 December 2027. Building on the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) partnership, this agreement advances HITIQ's consumer market strategy, positioning the PROTEQT smart mouthguard as a cornerstone of athlete safety in regional sports. AFL Barwon oversees 25,000+ football players and 570+ teams across 50+ clubs in Victoria, with a robust digital platform and deep community ties. This partnership amplifies PROTEQT's presence through targeted campaigns and direct club engagement, meeting regional demand for innovative concussion management solutions. It aligns with AFL Barwon's focus on inclusive initiatives, such as the All-Abilities Football League, enhancing HITIQ's impact on player welfare. Together with VAFA's 15,000+ players and Westfield Sports High School, this partnership strengthens HITIQ's reach in Australia's community sports market. PROTEQT, a boil-and-bite smart mouthguard, integrates advanced impact sensors, symptom assessment, and telehealth services, addressing the urgent need for accessible concussion management at the grassroots level. HITIQ targets 100,000+ athletes aged 12 and over in the first year of PROTEQT's commercial rollout, commencing this month.
