  • Salanie greenstone system maintains strong potential to host gold mineralization
Full Summary

Apollo Minerals Limited (ASX: AON) has provided an update on assay results from the 2025 Phase 2 drilling program at the Salanie Gold Project in Gabon. The 14 hole, 1,695 metre diamond drilling campaign targeted highly encouraging results from the A1, P6, and untested A2 and A3 prospects. At the A1 prospect, new assay results include 1.0m @ 0.8g/t Au from 75m, directly below historical trenching that exhibited visible gold. At the P6 prospect, new results include 3.0m @ 1.0g/t Au from 74m, 0.6m @ 2.5g/t Au from 17.5m, and 0.7m @ 1.3g/t Au from 25m, associated with quartz veining and a felsic intrusive unit. Drilling at the A1 South area intersected a 6m wide zone of brecciation, alteration and quartz veining, interpreted as the continuation of the controlling Salanie Fault structure. The combined results to date demonstrate that the 12km long Salanie greenstone system maintains strong potential to host gold mineralization, particularly associated with quartz veining, with further targets still to be tested.

Outlook

Results from the 2025 exploration drilling and mapping are being analysed to define the next phase of work at the Salanie Gold Project.
