Monash IVF Group Limited (MVF) has responded to an ASX aware letter regarding an incident that occurred at its Clayton laboratory on 5 June 2025. The incident involved a patient's own embryo being incorrectly transferred, contrary to the treatment plan which designated the transfer of an embryo of the patient's partner. MVF confirms that it considers the occurrence of the incident to be information that a reasonable person would expect to have a material effect on the price or value of its securities. However, it does not consider the commencement of the internal investigation, the expansion of the scope of the independent review, or the reporting of the incident to regulators to be market sensitive information beyond the occurrence of the incident itself.MVF initially became aware of the incident on the afternoon of 5 June 2025, subject to verification that the information was accurate and sufficiently definite to warrant disclosure. The company immediately commenced an internal investigation and ensured that the information was verified and released promptly and without delay on 10 June 2025, in compliance with Listing Rules 3.1 and 3.1A.MVF confirms that it is in compliance with the Listing Rules, and that its responses have been authorized and approved in accordance with its continuous disclosure policy.
