OpenLearning Limited (ASX: OLL) has signed a 5-year, usage-based SaaS agreement with Education Centre of Australia Pty Ltd (ECA) to utilise OpenLearning's learning management system (LMS). The total minimum contracted SaaS fees over the 5-year period are A$155,000, with the potential for additional revenue based on usage. After reviewing several LMS options, ECA chose OpenLearning for its scalability, AI innovation, and strong examinations and outcome-based assessments feature. ECA will use OpenLearning in its ELSIS English language college, ECA College vocational training, and ECA Professional Year IT graduate program. The agreement is on commercial terms and in the best interest of OpenLearning and its shareholders, as ECA holds a substantial interest (over 10%) in OpenLearning and is represented on its board. The minimum fees payable are not currently financially material, but the strategic value of three Australian higher education providers utilising OpenLearning's platform warranted the announcement.
The minimum contracted SaaS fees over the 5-year agreement with ECA are A$155,000.
