ClearVue Technologies Limited (ASX: CPV) and LandGlass Technology Co., Ltd subsidiary, LandVac, have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to form a strategic partnership to include research and development, manufacturing, and commercialization of a new class of solar vacuum insulated glazing (Solar VIG) products. LandVac has established a patent array around the world, covering the core manufacturing technology chain throughout the entire life cycle of the product, including core raw materials, manufacturing processes, production equipment, quality inspection, and terminal applications, forming a complete intellectual property protection system. The new Solar VIG Range will feature innovative glazing products that combine thermal insulation and solar energy generation, including VIG-Solar Vacuum Insulated Vision Glass, Vacuum Insulated Solar Skylights, Vacuum Insulated Solar Spandrel, and Vacuum Insulated Solar Cladding Panels. The new range will be co-branded and marketed through both ClearVue's and LandGlass's established global distribution networks and licensees. The Joint Venture company will be based in Hong Kong and will serve as the intellectual property holding entity for all newly co-developed innovations, with both parties contributing their respective technologies, expertise, and global networks to the partnership.

The partnership is expected to reshape the industry landscape and accelerate the global progress in achieving carbon neutrality goals through the development and commercialization of advanced solar vacuum insulated glazing solutions.
