Vection Secures Further $0.5m Defence Order
- Order awarded by new department of existing Defence customer
- Customer has $27m budget for further work over next 3 years
- Extends Vection's INTEGRATEDXR into additional capability and department
Vection Technologies Ltd (ASX:VR1, OTC:VCTNY), the INTEGRATEDXR company, has secured a further $0.5m Defence order with the same customer as the recently announced $4.4m extension order (30 June 2025). This extension is important to Vection as it was won within a new department of the Defence customer, one which it has not previously sold to. Furthermore, this defence customer has an approved budget for a further $27m of work to award over the next 3 years and the Company expects to win a significant portion of this. The order serves as a precursor to further taskings under the remaining extension work plan, contingent upon subsequent awards, of which Vection is aware there are still $27m of work to be awarded over the next 3 years in this current workstream. Gianmarco Biagi, Managing Director of Vection Technologies, commented that a flawless delivery of the previous $4.4m order gave the customer confidence to award further works, and that this $0.5m task order marks the first step in a broader multi-domain, multi-department roll-out, underscoring Vection's role as a long-term partner in mission-critical digital transformation. Globally, defence organisations are accelerating the adoption of AI-driven, XR-enabled workflows, and Vection's INTEGRATEDXR is well-positioned to meet that demand.
There are no termination provisions associated with this $0.5m contract, which Vection expects to deliver in full by July 2025, recognising the associated revenue in FY26.
Vection expects to win a significant portion of the $27m of further work that the Defence customer has budgeted over the next 3 years, building on the success of this $0.5m extension order and the previously announced $4.4m order.
