Capral Limited (ASX:CAA) has announced that it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire the business of Comsupply Pty Ltd, a privately held aluminium systems and hardware distributor based in Perth, Western Australia. Comsupply is a well-established and respected business in the WA market, servicing over 350 account customers with a diverse product offering across aluminium partition systems, wardrobes, and hardware. The company generates approximately $15 million in annual revenue. Comsupply's operations are based in Belmont, Perth, and include a patented range of aluminium partition systems known as QRK, which Capral sees as a strategic opportunity for expansion through its national specification capability. Capral's Divisional General Manager - Building Systems, Barry Lunn, stated that the acquisition provides Capral with a strong platform to expand its aluminium systems and hardware offering, particularly the QRK partition systems, to grow its footprint and serve customers in Western Australia. The transaction is expected to be completed following customary conditions, and integration planning is underway. Comsupply will continue to operate as a standalone business in the near term, with its General Manager reporting into Capral's Building Systems division.
