- Eco4847P battery has 17.5% more capacity than predecessor

PPK Group Limited (ASX: PPK) has provided an update on the activities of its 51% owned subsidiary PowerPlus Energy Pty Ltd (PPE). PPE is one of PPK's significant, revenue-producing businesses. The announcement focuses on PPE's new product launches that align with the Australian government's Cheaper Home Batteries Program, which provides homeowners and installers with rebates on eligible certified energy storage systems. PPE has recently launched the Eco4847P modular lithium battery and the Whispr-7 all-in-one residential solution, both of which are certified under the Clean Energy Council's Battery Assurance Program and qualify for the government rebates. The Eco4847P battery delivers 17.5% more capacity than its predecessor, while maintaining the same compact form factor. The Whispr-7 makes use of CATL battery cells and a unique silent running inverter. In addition to the rebate-eligible products, PPE is also developing innovative new offerings for the utilities and telecommunications sectors, in partnership with RFI Technology Solutions. This exclusive partnership has resulted in the LiNET4835 rack-mounted battery solution, with strong early sales and initial installations in rural NSW and Queensland. The announcement highlights PPE's positioning to capitalize on the over one-million-battery market opportunity unlocked by the 2025-2030 federal subsidy program in Australia, which has low household battery adoption despite high rooftop solar penetration.
PPE is well positioned to grow its market share of the over one-million-battery market opportunity unlocked by the 2025 - 2030 federal subsidy program in Australia.
