- Tshipi delivered its strongest performance on record, including record manganese sales and highest-ever mining volumes
- Tshipi EBITDA decreased by 8% due to lower realised manganese prices and increased unit cost of production
- Jupiter's cash position decreased slightly due to tax and royalty payments
Jupiter Mines Limited (ASX: JMS) reported its Q4 FY2025 quarterly activities, with its 49.9% owned Tshipi Manganese Mine delivering its strongest performance on record. This included record manganese sales of 1,088,548 tonnes, a 40% increase on the previous quarter and a 2% increase on the prior year corresponding period. Tshipi also achieved its highest-ever mining volumes and a new record for material processed through the production plant. However, Tshipi's EBITDA decreased by 8% on the previous quarter, driven by a combination of lower realised manganese prices and an increase in the unit cost of production. Jupiter's cash position decreased slightly during the quarter, with payment of normal corporate overheads and Tshipi's tax and royalty payments. The announcement also provided an overview of the manganese market conditions and outlook, as well as details on Jupiter's marketing entity performance.
Tshipi's full year FY2025 production reached a new record of 3,603,114 tonnes, while sales for the year were also a record at 3,587,219 tonnes.
