Melbana Energy Limited provided a summary of its activities during the quarter ended 30 June 2025. In Cuba Block 9, where Melbana holds a 30% participating interest and is the operator, continuous oil production commenced from the Amistad-2 well in mid-April, with a total of 14,259 barrels of crude produced and delivered to storage during the period. At the end of the quarter, the crude inventory stood at 22,863 barrels. All civil works, permits, and materials were in place for the drilling of Amistad-2, the block's first dedicated production well. Preparations for the drilling of Amistad-3 were also advanced, with civil construction of the well pad, rig-camp location, and access roads nearing completion. The Amistad-3 production well targets several interpreted fracture sets within the Unit 1B (Veloz Group, Amistad-sheet) oil reservoir. In Australia, the company continued marketing its interest in the AC/P70 license in the Ashmore Cartier Territory, with interest from prospective partners being encouraging. The company had $5.1 million in cash available at the end of the quarter.
