BPH Global Secures US$375,000 Trade Financing Facility
- Binding US$375,000 trade financing loan agreement with Equentia Natural Resources
- Enhances purchasing power and enables independent seaweed stock procurement
- Supports expansion of existing commercial arrangement with PT Kebula Raya Bestari
BPH Global Ltd (ASX: BP8) has announced that its Indonesian subsidiary PT BPH Global Indonesia (BP8 Indonesia) has entered into a binding US$375,000 (A$560,000) trade financing loan agreement and a lien agreement with Singapore-based commodities trading company Equentia Natural Resources Pte Ltd (Equentia NR). The trade financing facility significantly enhances BP8 Indonesia's purchasing power, enabling the company to independently procure larger volumes of seaweed stock and expand its processing capabilities at the soon-to-be commissioned warehouse in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The additional funding also provides for further expansion of the company's existing commercial arrangement with PT Kebula Raya Bestari (Kebula), supporting continued sales growth both domestically and internationally. BP8 Indonesia's seaweed business development has included the completion of a seaweed assets acquisition from PT Mitra Agro Global, a subsidiary of Equentia, and the establishment of a Product Sales Cooperation Agreement with Kebula. The company has demonstrated strong traction in domestic and international sales, with international sales exceeding domestic sales in the first month. BP8 Indonesia continues to actively engage potential offtake partners to underpin its growth ambitions and scale operations.
The trade financing facility is a key enabler to scaling BP8 Indonesia's operations and meeting the growing demand from its customers. The company remains focused on building a sustainable business that benefits local communities and delivers value to its stakeholders.
