Academies Australasia Group Announces FY25 Preliminary Results
- Revenue improved by 1.5% to $47.5 million
- Net loss improved by 87% to $1.3 million
- Adjusted EBITDA improved by 111% to $7.5 million
Academies Australasia Group Limited has reported its preliminary financial results for the financial year ended 30 June 2025 (FY25). Revenue from ordinary activities increased by 1.5% to $47.5 million, while the loss from ordinary activities after tax attributable to members improved by 87% to $1.3 million. After adjusting for non-cash impairments and provisions, the net loss was $902,000. Adjusted EBITDA improved by 111% from $3.5 million to $7.5 million. The company noted that while growth opportunities were severely curtailed, it was able to improve revenue, net operating cash flow, and reduce expenses. The company also acquired the remaining 32.46% interest in the College of Sports & Fitness and received several director-related loans. The operating environment remained challenging due to the government's new prioritization system for processing offshore visa applications, which affected 8 of the 18 Academies Australasia colleges. However, the total indicative New Overseas Student Commencement (NOSC) allocation for these colleges in calendar 2026 is expected to increase by up to 37% to 811.
