65m of Antimony zones with grades up to 7.8% Sb
- Ongoing historic drillhole re-assay program confirms 65m total antimony zone in historic diamond drillhole MR127
- Re-assay program continues to deliver strong antimony grades
- Results further strengthen the potential for maiden antimony Mineral Resource estimate at Maverick Springs
Sun Silver Limited (ASX: SS1) has provided an update on the ongoing multi-element re-assay program at its Maverick Springs Silver-Gold Project in Nevada, USA. The latest re-assay results from drill hole MR127 continue to confirm antimony mineralisation within the existing silver-gold Mineral Resource, which extends approximately 2.4km long and 1.4km wide. The re-assay program has identified a 65m total antimony zone in MR127, including 44m at 0.1% Sb from 181m and 21m at 0.11% Sb from 236m. These continued strong antimony intercepts further strengthen the growth potential of the Maverick Springs Mineral Resource and the potential for a maiden antimony Mineral Resource estimate. The re-assay program, combined with planned validation drilling, is focused on defining antimony mineralisation across the broader Ag-Au system to build a robust dataset that is expected to culminate in a potential maiden antimony Mineral Resource estimate with mineralisation modelling to commence imminently.
