DroneShield Limited has reported exceptional financial and operational results for the first half of 2025, with revenue up 210% to $72.3 million, customer cash receipts up 185% to $60.7 million, and profit after tax of $2.1 million, a significant turnaround from the $4.8 million loss in the prior corresponding period. The company has seen strong growth across its product portfolio, with fixed site solutions now accounting for 60% of revenue, up from 19% in FY2024. Geographically, while the US remains a critical market, revenue contribution is now well balanced with other regions including Europe (16%) and Asia Pacific (27%). The company's inventory book value stood at $81 million as of 30 June 2025, with a sale value significantly higher due to the high gross margins on DroneShield products. DroneShield continues to advance its portfolio of AI-driven solutions, with enhancements to its RFAI-2 detection model and progress on RFAI-3, the next-generation AI drone detection model. The company is also preparing significant software updates for its RFAI-ATK electronic defeat model and DroneSentry-C2 platform. DroneShield is expanding its infrastructure and innovation to support its growth trajectory, scaling manufacturing capacity from $500 million to $2.4 billion per annum by the end of 2026, and growing its employee base from 250 at the end of last year to over 370 today.

The secured FY2025 revenue stands at an exceptional $176.3 million, comprising $72.3 million in recognised 1H2025 revenue, confirmed purchase orders scheduled for delivery in 2H2025, and deferred revenue from subscriptions and warranties.
