RCM to Acquire Webbs Consol Silver Project from Lode Res.
- Transformational acquisition, adding 32Moz AgEq at high grades to RCM's existing portfolio
- Consolidates a contiguous high-grade silver belt with district-scale exploration potential
- Enables integrated development with unified mine planning and processing synergies
Rapid Critical Metals (RCM) has entered into a binding agreement to acquire the Webbs Consol Silver Project from Lode Resources. The acquisition will add 32Moz AgEq at high grades (636g/t AgEq) to RCM's existing Webbs and Conrad deposits, creating a combined Mineral Resource of ~67Moz AgEq with a grade of ~400 g/t AgEq. The transaction consolidates a contiguous high-grade silver belt in the New England Fold Belt, unlocking new discovery potential and enabling integrated development with unified mine planning and processing synergies. The acquisition comes amid historically strong silver prices, enhancing the project economics and growth potential. RCM will pay a total consideration of A$3.75 million cash and 115 million new RCM shares to Lode, plus a 2% Net Smelter Return (NSR) royalty. Completion is subject to mutual due diligence, execution of definitive documentation, and RCM shareholder approval.
RCM is not providing any high-importance, price-sensitive forward-looking financial metrics or other company-specific metrics in this announcement.
The acquisition positions RCM to accelerate exploration and development activities to create long-term value for shareholders, leveraging the consolidated high-grade silver portfolio and favorable market conditions.
