Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Company Limited ('Soul Patts') and Brickworks Limited ('Brickworks') have provided an update on the proposed merger between the two companies. Subject to the required majorities of Brickworks and Soul Patts shareholders approving the respective share schemes at meetings on 10 September 2025, the Supreme Court of New South Wales will hear the applications for approval of the schemes on 12 September 2025. If any shareholders wish to oppose the approval of the Brickworks or Soul Patts share schemes, they must file and serve a notice of appearance and any supporting affidavit at least one day before the Second Court Hearings.
