Beetaloo Energy Australia Limited presented its corporate overview at the SEAAOC Conference in Darwin, highlighting its strategic position to supply domestic and international gas markets from its Beetaloo Basin assets. The company holds 1.6 TCF (2C) and over 47 TCFe (2U) of dry, gas-rich, LNG-quality natural gas in the Beetaloo Basin, which is a globally significant basin estimated to hold more than 200 TCF in-place. Beetaloo Energy has two key focus areas: the Carpentaria Project in EP187, which is pilot-ready with 5 TCF of gas, and the Western Beetaloo with over 20 TCF of resources. The company's acreage is adjacent to existing pipeline, rail, and road infrastructure, facilitating rapid commercialization. Beetaloo Energy has also secured a 10-year, up to 25 TJ/d gas sales agreement with the Northern Territory government, ensuring local market access. The presentation highlighted the company's strong financial position, with a $65 million financing package from Macquarie Bank to fund the Carpentaria Pilot Project, including the refurbishment and construction of the Carpentaria Gas Plant. The company has also received consent from the Traditional Owners to sell appraisal gas, a key milestone for the project.
