Ora Banda Mining Ltd has released its annual Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve statement as at 1 July 2025. The company reported a total Mineral Resource estimate of 26.8 Mt @ 2.4 g/t for 2.11 Moz, an increase of 160 koz after mining 108 koz from 1 June 2024. Key highlights include a 25% increase in the Riverina Underground Resource to 7.0 Mt at 2.6 g/t for 586 koz, and a 14% increase in the Sand King Underground Resource to 3.9 Mt at 2.8 g/t for 348 koz. The company's total Ore Reserve estimate increased 24% to 3.0 Mt at 2.4 g/t for 236 koz, with Underground Ore Reserves increasing 24% to 1.66 Mt at 3.3 g/t for 176 koz. This includes a 54% increase in the Sand King Underground Ore Reserve to 829 kt at 3.2 g/t for 84 koz, and a 5% increase in the Riverina Underground Ore Reserve to 825 kt at 3.5 g/t for 92 koz. The company noted that the Resource and Reserve estimates do not include recent drilling results from Little Gem, Waihi, Round Dam and step-out extensions of Sand King, which are expected to be updated in H2 FY26 as part of a $73 million exploration and resource development drilling program.
The company plans a major $73 million exploration and resource development drilling program in FY26 to further grow its asset base, including follow-up drilling at Waihi, Round Dam and Little Gem which were not included in the current Resource and Reserve statement.
