• Saunders appoints Angelo De Angelis as new Managing Director and CEO

Saunders International Limited (ASX:SND) has announced the appointment of Angelo De Angelis as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 October 2025. De Angelis has served as the company's Chief Operating Officer since June 2021, playing a key role in Saunders' strategic transformation into a multidisciplinary engineering, construction and maintenance business, as well as developing its record opportunity pipeline. Prior to joining Saunders, De Angelis held senior leadership positions in Australia, the Indo-Pacific and North America, including roles as President, Chief Executive, Chief Human Resources Officer and Head of Strategy at Transfield Services and Ventia. He brings over 30 years of experience across Saunders' key markets and has a deep understanding of its supply chain partners and customers.The outgoing Managing Director and CEO, Mark Benson, will step down at the end of 2025 after a decade of leading the company. Benson will remain engaged with Saunders for a further 12 months, providing support to De Angelis as required, to facilitate an orderly transition.Saunders' Chair, Nick Yates, expressed confidence in De Angelis' ability to continue driving the company's strategy and delivering long-term value for shareholders. Yates also acknowledged Benson's outstanding contribution and the strong reputation, expanded capabilities and record levels of work in hand that Saunders has achieved under his leadership.
