Laverton South Gold Project - Exploration Update
- Two distinct gold anomalies defined at the T14 South gold prospect
- Anomalous east-west oriented gold zone identified over a width of more than 300m
- 800m to 1,000m-long, north-south trending anomalous gold zone identified
E79 Gold Mines has received final gold assay results from its recently completed air-core drilling program at the T14 South gold prospect, located 3km south of KalGold's Kirgella's Gift gold deposit. The drilling has defined two distinct gold anomalies at T14 South. An east-west oriented gold zone has been identified over a width of more than 300m on the southern-most drill line, with significant assay results including 3m @ 0.23g/t Au from 83m and 8m @ 0.13g/t Au from 60m. A second gold anomaly has been defined in the west of the program area, with an 800m to 1,000m long north-south trending anomaly identified across multiple drill lines. This anomaly includes previous intersections such as 15m @ 0.38g/t Au from 80m and 8m @ 0.82g/t Au from 80m, including 4m @ 1.57g/t Au. These wide-spaced drill results are considered significant as they are located in prospective stratigraphy, south of known mineralization, and confirm the presence of gold mineralization below the regional paleochannel. The next stage of work at T14 South will be to explore this area at depth with possible RC drilling. Additionally, an extra 15 air-core holes have been drilled to the west of the recent Lighthorse gold discovery, with assays expected in the next three weeks.
