The site identified in Brownsville, Texas, demonstrates a highly strategic location for developing a large-scale industrial facility, with immediate access to existing heavy-industry infrastructure, utilities, and transportation corridors. The location within a designated industrial corridor ensures compatibility with neighbouring uses, limiting community resistance and environmental permitting obstacles. LU7 has selected Texas as the target destination for its integrated PV Solar recycling project due to the state's rapid growth in solar installations, supportive policy and regulation, strategic industrial and energy ecosystem, faster permitting and less regulatory friction, and early-stage investor appetite backing recycling firms.
