PME signs 5-year, A$10M deal with University Heidelberg

• 5-year Enterprise PACS contract with University Hospital Heidelberg (UKHD) and German Cancer Research Institute (DKFZ)

Pro Medicus Limited, a leading healthcare informatics company, has announced that its wholly-owned European subsidiary, Visage Imaging, GmbH, has signed a 5-year, A$10M Enterprise PACS deal with University Hospital Heidelberg (UKHD) and German Cancer Research Institute (DKFZ), as well as associated hospitals Thoraxklink Heidelberg and KKH Bergstrasse. UKHD is one of Germany's largest and most renowned academic medical centers, with approximately 2,600 beds and nearly 14,000 staff members. DKFZ is Germany's largest biomedical research institution, with over 3,400 employees from more than 90 nations, comprising approximately 1,490 scientists. UKHD and DKFZ form the core of one of Europe's preeminent hubs for cancer research and treatment. The Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform will enable UKHD and DKFZ to consolidate their disparate legacy systems, streamline workflows, and provide clinicians with advanced diagnostic tools. The platform will also empower researchers to integrate imaging into clinical trials and translational studies at unprecedented speed and scale, while providing the foundation to bring new discoveries into clinical practice.
