Full Summary

Astral Resources NL (ASX: AAR) has reported assay results for the final 51 holes (8,320 metres) of a 74-hole (11,740-metre) reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at its 100%-owned Spargoville Gold Project in Western Australia. The drilling program has identified significant gold mineralisation at the Eagles Nest deposit and extensions to the Trapdoor-Lindsay's Reward gold trend. Highlights from the Eagles Nest deposit include 3 metres at 16.9g/t Au from 71 metres, including 1 metre at 49.2g/t Au, and 9 metres at 5.16g/t Au from 105 metres, including 1 metre at 33.6g/t Au. The drilling has confirmed the potential for extensions of the known mineralisation at depth, with a moderate northerly plunge to the gold mineralisation identified. At the Trapdoor-Lindsay's Reward gold trend, the drilling has confirmed gold mineralisation extends to the south, while also identifying a parallel lode, likely an extension of the Huntsman Deposit. Best results from this area include 6 metres at 3.45g/t Au from 63 metres and 6 metres at 3.15g/t Au from 36 metres. The company is encouraged by the widespread gold mineralisation intersected in the inaugural RC drill program and believes it provides considerable potential to increase the existing historic resources and identify higher-grade deposits similar to the nearby Wattle Dam Gold Mine.

Outlook

The company plans to further drill test the Trapdoor-Lindsay's Reward gold trend in a future Spargoville drill program. At the Mandilla Gold Project, in-fill drilling at the Theia Deposit is continuing, with a 99-hole/10,000-metre program currently 74% complete. A diamond drilling program targeting high-grade shear-hosted gold mineralisation within the Theia Deposit and deep extensional tests on the eastern flank is also planned to commence in mid-October 2025.
