Recent metallurgical testwork has confirmed percolation flow rates well above industry benchmarks, reinforcing the project's potential for a low-cost, scalable heap leach operation. With further testwork underway and key assays pending, the company is rapidly advancing toward defining a Stage 1 starter operation that could unlock near-term gold production in Western Australia's premier gold district. Highlights include heap-leach amenability confirmed at the James Prospect, with 34 of 55 percolation tests averaging ~59,900 L/hr/m2, exceeding the industry benchmark of ~10,000 L/hr/m2. The company has also reported shallow high-grade hits at James, including 5m @ 2.68 g/t gold from 17m within 19m @ 0.97 g/t Au. Near-term catalysts include assay results, diamond drilling for metallurgical testwork, permitting progress, grade-control drilling, and column leach recoveries. OzAurum is working with Kappes, Cassiday & Associates Australia on the site design and layout for Stage 1 and Stage 2/3 heap leach operations on the granted Mining Lease M28/240.
