Metal Hawk Limited has announced that a maiden diamond drilling campaign has commenced at its 100% owned Leinster South Project, located in the Agnew-Lawlers region of Western Australia. The drilling will test high-grade gold targets at the Thylacine prospect. Metal Hawk's Managing Director, Will Belbin, stated that the diamond drilling will effectively test the deeper target zones and provide valuable structural and mineralogical information to advance the company's understanding of the gold system. The initial program will consist of at least five diamond holes and follows recent successful reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the prospect, which intersected high-grade gold (up to 13.9 g/t) associated with multiple quartz-sulphide veins. The diamond drilling program will test a number of deeper structural targets in addition to following up on the recent RC results.
