Koonenberry Gold to commence 10,000m drilling at Enmore project
- Drilling to target extensions to mineralisation at Sunnyside and test priority targets along the 2km prospective Sunnyside Shear Zone
- Phase II drilling expected to exceed 10,000m and run into 2026
- Koonenberry well funded with $8.7M cash to execute the program
Koonenberry Gold Ltd will commence a 10,000m Phase II drilling program at the Enmore Gold Project in northeast NSW in the next few days. The drilling will target extensions to the broad and high-grade gold mineralisation intersected during the company's Phase I drilling program at the Sunnyside Prospect, as well as test priority targets along the 2km prospective Sunnyside Shear Zone. Phase I drilling at Sunnyside returned exceptional results, including 170m @ 1.75g/t Au from 77m, 172.9m @ 2.07g/t Au from 171m, and 102m @ 1.10g/t Au from 184m. The mineralisation remains open up dip, down dip and along strike. The upcoming 10,000m program will look to extend the mineralised zone in these directions. In addition, four priority drill targets have been identified along the Sunnyside Shear Zone where historical rock chips returned up to 17.55g/t Au and limited drilling intersected anomalous gold, indicating the potential for additional 'Sunnyside-style' discoveries. Koonenberry Gold is well funded to execute this exciting program, with $8.7 million in cash as of 30 June 2025. The company plans to provide regular exploration updates as the drilling progresses through 2026.
Koonenberry Gold plans to prioritise programs across its diverse portfolio of gold and copper projects in NSW to maximise value for shareholders. The company looks forward to providing regular exploration updates as the 10,000m drilling program at the Enmore Gold Project progresses.
