Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX: AAJ) has received firm commitments for a placement to raise $3.515 million (before costs) from sophisticated and professional investors. The funds will be used to advance exploration across the company's key projects, including the Fiery Creek Copper Project in Queensland, the Saltwater Project in Western Australia, and the Wilan Heavy Mineral Sands Project in South Australia. At the Fiery Creek Copper Project, the company plans to undertake targeted fieldwork to define and refine targets for further drilling, including reprocessing geophysical IP data and constructing a 3D structural and geological model. Fieldwork is also planned at the Bortala Copper Project in Queensland to define priority target areas for a proposed first-phase of drilling. At the Wilan Project, Aruma will conduct a systematic ground sampling program designed to delineate heavy mineral sands anomalies across the project area, targeting high-value minerals such as zircon, ilmenite, rutile and leucoxene. The company also intends to carry out an infill soil sampling program at the Tunnel Creek area within the Saltwater Project in Western Australia, ahead of a planned first-phase RC drilling program. The placement was strongly supported, with the funds strengthening Aruma's balance sheet and facilitating the continuation of these targeted exploration programs, which are expected to support strong, ongoing news flow.
