New uranium mineralization discovered near Alta Mesa
- Additional roll front uranium mineralization discovered near existing wellfields at Alta Mesa Uranium Project
- Ongoing re-analysis of historic drill data expected to continue until end of 2025
- Follow-up delineation drilling to continue into 2026
Boss Energy Limited (ASX: BOE; OTCQX: BQSSF) has announced that its joint venture partner, enCore Energy Corp (NASDAQ: EU; TSXV: EU), has published an update on new uranium discoveries made near existing wellfields at the Alta Mesa Uranium Project in Texas, USA. enCore is the operator and 70 per cent-owner of the Alta Mesa Uranium Project, while Boss owns the remaining 30 per cent and receives 30 per cent of the mine's uranium production. According to enCore's update, the additional roll front uranium mineralization was discovered as a result of a major ongoing re-analysis of historic drill holes from across the Alta Mesa Project. This re-analysis of previous drill data is expected to continue until the end of 2025, with follow-up delineation drilling continuing into 2026. The discovery of this new mineralization is in addition to the major drill program, expected to commence in the next few weeks, on the recently acquired Alta Mesa East Property (formally called Tacubaya).
